About the event
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our powerful "Inclusion Is Always In" billboard campaign featuring local South Dakota residents in celebration of Disability Month in July. This month holds great significance as it commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by President George H.W. Bush on July 26, 1990. Rare by Design recognizes the transformative impact of this landmark legislation and aims to highlight the importance of visual representation for individuals with disabilities and rare diseases.
Join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #RepresentationMatters and together, we can create a world where individuals with rare diseases and disabilities are seen, heard and empowered.
We partnered with Book Your Billboard on this project to display our ads all across Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Our ads were designed by Lyndsey Kastein of LK Design Co. Photos used in this campaign were taken by Maddie Peschong of Maddie Peschong Photography.
